A Year From Now, You'll Be Glad You Started Today

How many times have you heard someone say, "I'll start next week," or "Maybe when things settle down." The truth is, the perfect time never comes. Life doesn't slow down, schedules don't magically clear, and motivation isn't something you just wake up with one day. The only way to make progress is to start—right now, right where you are.
I think back to races I've run and training cycles I've been through. There were times when I doubted whether I was ready, whether I was too old, too busy, or too worn down to push forward. But every time I laced up, every time I showed up, I built something—strength, endurance, discipline.
This morning, I ran on a hotel treadmill. It wasn't my favorite run, but it was one more step forward. One more deposit in the bank of consistency. And here's the thing—if I hadn't made running a daily habit long ago, if I had kept pushing it off, I wouldn't be where I am today.
A year from now, you'll either look back and see the progress you've made, or you'll wish you had started. The choice is always yours.
So if you're hesitating, stop. Don't wait for the right time, the perfect weather, or the ideal conditions. Start today. Go for that run. Sign up for that race. Take the first step. Because a year from now, you'll be damn glad you did.
Keep moving forward!
